Quang Tri's Urban Revolution: 3 Major Real Estate Projects Approved
Quang Tri province, once renowned for its military history, is now poised for significant urban development. The provincial government has approved three major real estate projects, totalling 780 hectares, set to transform the area. These projects, led by local and international investors, aim to boost tourism, services, and urban growth.
The projects include the Nhat Le coastal urban complex, Dong Hoi mixed-use development, and Le Ky riverside project. The Nhat Le coastal project, spanning 276 hectares, will feature beachfront properties and luxury resorts near Quang Phu sand dunes and one of Vietnam's top 10 beaches. Meanwhile, the Le Ky riverside complex, covering 291 hectares, will include high-end residential areas, retail and cultural centers, entertainment facilities, and a theme park. The Dong Hoi mixed-use development will cater to a variety of needs, complementing the other projects.
These developments will have direct links to Dong Hoi airport, the national railway, National Highway 1A, and the Ho Chi Minh Road, ensuring easy access and connectivity. The provincial People's Committee chairman, Tran Phong, sees these projects as a turning point for Quang Tri, driving urban development, tourism, and services. The investments, totalling over VND38 trillion ($1.44 billion), are led by the Quang Tri Construction Investment Joint Stock Company, Dong Hoi Urban Development Joint Stock Company, and Sun Group.
Quang Tri's transformation is underway, with these projects set to reshape the province's urban landscape and boost its economy. The province, now part of the new Quang Tri province following its merger with Quang Binh in June 2023, is emerging as a bright spot in the central region for tourism development, renewable energy, and international trade logistics.
