India Mobile Congress 2025 to Showcase 6G Tech and AI Innovations
The India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025 is set to take place in New Delhi from October 8 to 11, with a significant focus on the upcoming 6G technology. The event, organized by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), will bring together global and Indian experts, startups, and industry leaders under the theme 'Innovate to Transform'.
The IMC Aspire Programme, scheduled for October 8, will kickstart the event with participation from the Indian Merchants' Chamber (IMC) and various corporate sponsors. This programme will host the first-ever Startup World Cup India edition, offering a pathway for the winner to compete for a $1 million investment prize in San Francisco. Around 500 startups will connect with approximately 300 top-tier venture capitalists, private equity promoters, and investment bankers.
The IMC 2025 will feature an International 6G Symposium, led by the national Bharat 6G Alliance, with over 70 global and Indian experts discussing the latest advancements in 6G technology. Additionally, an International AI Summit will showcase nearly 800 AI-based use cases, exploring the latest trends and applications of Artificial Intelligence. The event will also include SATCOM and Cyber Security Summits, focusing on satellite communication services and robust data protection solutions respectively.
With over 1.5 lakh visitors from 150+ countries, 400+ exhibitors, and 7,000+ global delegates, the IMC 2025 is expected to strengthen India's position across the digital value chain. The event promises to be a significant platform for innovation, investment, and collaboration in the tech industry.
