SMART Balustrades Expands Team to Meet Growing Demand
SMART Balustrades, a specialist in handrail and balustrade systems, has announced the expansion of its team to better serve its growing volume of customers. The company, which operates in sectors including education, retail, leisure, and housing, is aiming for a 35% year-on-year growth in 2021 following a record year in 2020.
Joining the team are Sukhi Bassi and Paul Heston. Sukhi, a CAD technician, comes from Chandigarh and brings six years of experience in the balustrades industry to the table. She holds an undergraduate degree in Building Survey and a master's degree in Building Information Modelling for Integrated Construction. In her role at SMART Balustrades, Sukhi will be responsible for delivering creative and compliant solutions, innovative product development, and order processing.
Sukhi expressed excitement about joining the team and her role as the new CAD technician. She looks forward to working with the team to streamline business processes and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Paul, on the other hand, will be part of the manufacturing team. He brings over 20 years of experience in the manufacturing industry and will be responsible for producing a range of SMART Balustrade products, including bespoke glass and stainless-steel balustrades, Juliet and platform balconies, and handrails. Paul is thrilled to be part of the high-quality manufacturing team at SMART Balustrades.

SMART Balustrades is a part of the Unitech Group and manufactures and installs a range of products at its 75,000 sq. ft. production facility in Burntwood, Staffordshire.
