Arnsberg's Neheim: Major Street Renovations Begin Next Week
Arnsberg's Neheim district is seeing significant street renovations. The city's Department of Urban Planning is overseeing the project, which includes the closure of the intersection area of Schobbostraße, Karlstraße, and Friedenstraße. The 9th phase of construction around Karlsplatz begins next week.
The construction work is set to close Karlstraße between Schobbostraße and Schwester-Aicharda-Straße starting September 29, turning it into a dead end accessible only via Schwester-Aicharda-Straße. In October, the entire intersection area will be closed for necessary work.
The closure of Karlstraße is required for the renewal of supply lines in the intersection area. Meanwhile, the renewal of supply and disposal lines in Schobbostraße between Möhnestraße and Karlstraße is already complete, with road construction currently in progress.
The city of Arnsberg is investing in the renewal of supply lines and the improvement of streets in the Neheim district. The upcoming closures and construction phases are part of this ongoing project to enhance the infrastructure of the area.
