Atlas Copco Boosts Compressed Air Solutions with SUTO iTEC Acquisition
Atlas Copco has expanded its reach in compressed air and gas measurement solutions with the acquisition of SUTO iTEC. Philippe Ernens, President of Atlas Copco's Compressor Technique business area, welcomed the deal, which brings SUTO's extensive product portfolio under the Atlas Copco umbrella.
SUTO, headquartered in Hong Kong with operations in China and Germany, offers a wide range of products including flow, power, and dew point meters, leak detectors, and compressed air purity analysers. These solutions cater to diverse industries such as manufacturing, food and beverage, and automotive.
Following the acquisition, SUTO will join Atlas Copco's Compressor Technique business area, integrating into the Service Division. This move is set to strengthen Atlas Copco's service capabilities and customer offerings in the compressed air and gas market.
The acquisition of SUTO iTEC by Atlas Copco brings together two specialists in their respective fields, aiming to enhance service capabilities and customer offerings. SUTO's product portfolio will bolster Atlas Copco's compressor technique business area, with the integration process underway under the Service Division.
