In this role, the Credit Processing Clerk will handle unsecured and secured credit engagements based on approved processing concepts. This includes reviewing and processing loan and credit applications, verifying applicant information and documentation, assessing creditworthiness according to bank policies, maintaining accurate credit records and databases, coordinating with loan officers and other departments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal procedures.
The role also includes carrying out enforcement of movable assets (pledge enforcement, claim enforcement, disclosure of assets) and enforcement of immovable assets (forced auction/-administration). The Credit Processing Clerk will evaluate and realize credit securities and may need to collaborate with legal representation in contentious and non-contentious proceedings.
Candidates are expected to have a completed commercial or banking education, ideally as a banker or Sparkasse banker. Prior experience in credit processing or banking operations, as well as practical experience in processing non-performing engagements, is highly desirable. The applicant should also have good numerical and analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy, and knowledge of relevant banking software and regulations.
Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, as the Credit Processing Clerk will need to conduct negotiations with debtors and third parties, such as lawyers and insolvency administrators. They should also possess a confident manner, particularly skilled in negotiation, especially in difficult conversation situations.
