Vodafone's Cristina Barbosa is appointed as the new Chairman by Ogilvy Spain.

Ogilvy Spain has announced the appointment of Cristina Barbosa as its new Chairperson, effective from the beginning of May. Barbosa, who has been with the tech communications company for eight-and-a-half years, will oversee the running of Ogilvy Spain's operations and play a key role in driving growth and innovation.

In her new role, Barbosa will be instrumental in expanding Ogilvy's services across various sectors, including brand and advertising, PR and influence, CRM and experience, health, and consulting. As the Chairwoman of Ogilvy Spain, she will work alongside key executives such as Jordi Urbea, CEO of the Barcelona office, Marta Gutiérrez, CEO of the Madrid office, Luis Riva, chief growth officer, and Roberto Fara, chief creative officer.

Barbosa is replacing Alfonso Marián as chairperson of Ogilvy Spain. Prior to her new appointment, she served as the Vodafone brand director in Spain. Her extensive experience in the industry will undoubtedly contribute significantly to Ogilvy Spain's growth and client offerings.
