A significant step forward in the energy transition in Hesse, Germany, is underway as TenneT Energy Company delivers a transformer to the transformer station in Großkrotzenburg today. The 285-ton transformer, measuring 46 meters in length, is a crucial component in the modernization of the transformer station, which began in 2023.

The transport of the transformer will begin between 2 and 3 PM at the NATO ramp in Großkrotzenburg. The route will include Kahler Straße, Lindestraße, Taunusstraße (L 3309), Raiffeisenstraße, and Hanauer Landstraße. The transport will end with a lane change near the transformer station entrance.
