CSIRO's Cosmos platform offers a variety of subscription options, catering to individual readers, institutions, and gift-giving purposes. Here's a breakdown of the available subscriptions and their key features.

A print subscription is a paid subscription for the hard copy product of the platform. It allows you to receive the magazine by post.

Digital Subscription

A digital subscription enables access to the Cosmos website and digital magazine replicas. Please note that sharing login details for single user digital subscriptions or print and digital subscriptions is prohibited.

Weekly Edition Subscription

This subscription provides access to exclusive content on the Cosmos website on a weekly basis.

Enterprise Subscription

The Enterprise subscription is a multi-user subscription that includes one print subscription, access to the Cosmos website, and digital magazine replicas. It allows unlimited concurrent users within the subscribing organisation, including employees, students, and library visitors.

Site Licence

The Site Licence is another multi-user subscription that provides access to the Cosmos website and digital magazine replicas. Site licences (as part of education subscriptions) which utilise a unique URL must not be shared outside the institution which holds the subscription.

Gift Subscription

Gift subscriptions are for a term of twelve months, commencing on the date of redemption by the gift recipient. They are available for both print and digital subscriptions.

It's important to note that site licences (as part of education subscriptions) which utilise a unique URL must not be shared outside of the institution which holds that subscription. Unlimited Digital subscriptions (such as Enterprise or Site Licence) allow access for the subscribing organization, employees, students, and library visitors.

Subscription prices are in AUD (including GST) unless otherwise stated. Unlimited digital subscriptions permit the use of the organisation who owns the subscription, employees of the organisation, students who attend the organisation, or the organisations library visitors.

For more specific details on what each subscription includes or pricing, it is recommended to visit the official CSIRO Cosmos subscription page directly or contact their customer service.

CSIRO reserves the right to suspend or terminate the account of a subscriber in breach of Terms and Conditions. If a magazine is damaged or faulty, it can be replaced within 30 days. Optional tools provided on the website are used "as is" and "as available" with no warranties, representations, or conditions of any kind.

Subscribers can opt-out of automatic renewal at any time. If automatic renewal is opted-in, the subscription will renew 30 days prior to the renewal date, and the new subscription price (which may be different) will be applied for the same term as the original subscription.

GST is removed from all international orders, but local Customs duties and taxes may apply. Shipping is by surface mail throughout Australia and sea mail overseas for print subscriptions.

Digital subscriptions are non-refundable, subject to Australian Consumer Laws. At no time can there be more than one digital subscriber accessing a single user digital subscription or share their Cosmos login details with other users or organisations.

Misuse of login details may result in subscription termination and loss of refund eligibility. CSIRO shall have no liability arising from or relating to your use of optional third-party tools.

CSIRO is the publisher of the Cosmos platform. Customer service can be reached at +61 3 9545 8555, via email, or at the address Cosmos, PO Box 10041, Adelaide, SA 5001.

The Enterprise subscription in the Cosmos platform caters to businesses by offering a multi-user subscription that includes access to the Cosmos website, print subscriptions, and digital magazine replicas for unlimited concurrent users within the subscribing organization. The industry of education also benefits from the Site Licence subscription, which provides access to the Cosmos website and digital magazine replicas, but must not be shared outside the institution holding the subscription.

In corporate environments, unlimited digital subscriptions such as Enterprise or Site Licence allow access for the subscribing organization, employees, students, and library visitors, while observing the prohibition against sharing login details for single user digital subscriptions or print and digital subscriptions.
