User Guidelines and Policies
In the realm of science and knowledge, CSIRO's Cosmos platform offers a variety of subscription options to cater to diverse reader preferences. Here's a breakdown of the Terms and Conditions that govern these subscriptions.
Firstly, it's important to note that any queries regarding these Terms should be directed to CSIRO at info@our website. CSIRO reserves the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates and changes to its website.
The Cosmos platform offers several types of subscriptions. A "Print Subscription" is a paid subscription for the hard copy product of the platform, while a "Digital Subscription" is a paid subscription that grants access to the Cosmos website and digital magazine replicas. An "Enterprise" subscription is a multi-user subscription, including one Print Subscription, access to the Cosmos website, and digital magazine replicas. A "Site Licence" is a multi-user subscription, including access to the Cosmos website and digital magazine replicas. Lastly, a "Gift Subscription" is a subscription package for Cosmos print and digital, with a term of twelve months, commencing on the date of redemption by the gift recipient.
Each subscription is designed for a specific number of users. One (1) user is permitted for single-user Digital or Print and Digital subscriptions, while unlimited users are permitted for Enterprise or Site licence concurrent user subscriptions. Sharing login details for single user Digital Subscriptions or Print and Digital Subscriptions is prohibited, and misuse may result in subscription termination. Purchasing one (1) Digital subscription (or one (1) Print and Digital subscription) is required for each user that may use or access the Cosmos Digital subscription at any one time.
Subscriptions may be subject to changes in price, but customers will be notified 30 days prior if the regular rate of a Digital or Print Subscription changes from what was stated at the time of the order. Subscription prices are in AUD (including GST) unless otherwise stated.
Users are required to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information. Site licences (as part of education subscriptions) which utilise a unique URL must not be shared outside of the institution which holds that subscription.
CSIRO reserves the right to suspend or terminate the account of a subscriber in breach of these Terms and Conditions. Users agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless CSIRO from any claim or demand arising out of their breach of these Terms or the documents they incorporate by reference, or their violation of any law or the rights of a third-party.
It's worth noting that users agree that their comments will not violate any right of any third-party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, personality or other personal or proprietary right. User comments may be edited, copied, published, distributed, translated and otherwise used by CSIRO.
Your use of the site is at your risk, and it is provided 'as is' and 'as available' for your use. CSIRO does not accept any liability to any person arising from using this site and/or any information or material on it.
