The iconic Jeep Grand Wagoneer is set for a significant facelift in 2026, introducing a bolder and more modern design, mechanical updates, and the addition of a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain option.
Design Evolution
The refreshed Grand Wagoneer boasts a sharper, more sculpted front fascia with slimmer, pencil-thin LED headlights and a larger lower grille. The traditional seven-slot grille takes a back seat, becoming more of a styling detail than a functional intake. Production for the 2026 Grand Wagoneer is set to begin in Q4 2025 at Stellantis’ Warren Truck Assembly Plant in Michigan. In the first half of 2025, Stellantis sold 26 combined units of the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer in Quebec, a decrease from 69 units in the same period the previous year.
In comparison, Cadillac sold 253 Escalades and Lincoln moved 65 Navigators during the same timeframe in Quebec. Despite this, the Grand Wagoneer continues to hold its ground in the premium SUV market.
