Unlawful entry at a garden house perpetrated by a fraudulent deliveryman, under the influence of drugs while driving
In a series of incidents over the past few days, the Criminal Police Department of Märkischer Kreis has taken several drivers into custody, suspected of driving under the influence of drugs.
On Tuesday, the police department filed charges against these drivers, following preliminary tests that showed signs of drug use during routine checks. The first incident occurred on Lösseler Straße, where a driver was checked at approximately 7:20 PM. The individual in question was a 25-year-old resident of Iserlohn, driving a vehicle on Zollernstraße. A patrol noticed an unbuckled driver on Zollernstraße at 7:50 PM, leading to the check.
Another driver, a 37-year-old Iserlohner, was stopped by police on Karl-Arnold-Straße at around 4:50 PM. The third incident involved a 22-year-old Iserlohn resident who was tricked by a fake delivery person. The individual received two codes to enter via phone, but after waiting in vain for the delivery, they contacted their mobile service provider. The service provider discovered a SIM card with a higher credit limit activated in the Iserlohner's name and stopped the order, assigning them a new number.
In all cases, the drivers' vehicles were impounded as part of the investigation. The police are also investigating data theft in relation to this incident.
Meanwhile, unknown individuals broke into a garden house on Dortmunder Straße and stole electrical appliances. No information about the person connected to the announced police investigation of data theft in Märkischer Kreis has been released as of yet.
