In a strategic move to consolidate its operations and expand its reach, Acrisure, a global fintech leader and top-10 insurance broker, has announced two new acquisitions in the UK market. The deals, which are subject to regulatory approvals, are expected to close in the near future.
The first acquisition is of CRK Commercial Insurance Services, a specialist commercial schemes provider. CRK, based in the UK, will join Acrisure's UK insurance broking businesses, adding to the group's extensive portfolio of insurance solutions.
The second acquisition is of WH&R McCartney, a general commercial SME insurance broker based in Motherwell, Scotland. This acquisition will mark Acrisure's entry into the Scottish market, further strengthening its presence in the UK.
These acquisitions are significant milestones in Acrisure's growth strategy, marking the 12th and 13th partnerships in the UK market for the company. The deals follow Acrisure's acquisition of Affinity Brokers Limited, which has rebranded to Acrisure UK Broking Limited.
Scott Meechan, one of the founders of Affinity, now serves as a key figure in Acrisure UK Broking. Yvonne McKnight, the Regional Director for Acrisure UK Broking in Scotland, will oversee the company's operations in the region.
Acrisure UK Broking Limited, based in Glasgow, Scotland, specialises in insurance broking services and operates within key industry sectors including commercial insurance, personal lines, and employee benefits. The company will continue to operate from its Blythswood Square office in Glasgow, ensuring continuity for its clients and staff.
