TÜV SÜD AG, the largest TÜV group in Germany, has reached a wage agreement with the United Services Trade Union (ver.di). The agreement, which covers more than 10,000 employees and trainees, includes one-time payments and wage increases.

The term of the extended collective agreement is 30 months, ending on December 31, 2027. One-time payments of 400 euros will be paid to all employees, 450 euros for lower wage groups, and 200 euros for trainees. The agreement also includes an additional annual payment for ver.di members, amounting to 350 euros from 2025. These payments will be made by the end of September.

TÜV SÜD AG provides services such as regular main inspections for motor vehicles and driving license tests on behalf of driver licensing authorities. The company now has a total of 12,000 employees across various sectors, including mobility, certification, and industry. The agreement now includes TÜV SÜD Rail GmbH, which employs around 600 people in the rail sector.

Volker Nüsse, ver.di industry expert, expressed satisfaction about valuing the commitment of ver.di colleagues with an additional annual payment. However, he described the negotiations as tough. The wage increases for employees and trainees are 2.5% from October 1, 2025, and 2.8% from January 1, 2027.

The agreement was reached in the third round of negotiations in early August. Volker Nüsse's contact information for inquiries is provided: Tel. 0175 225 36 11.
