Street-bound Hyundai Elantra N TCR Edition channels racetrack flair
Hyundai Elantra N TCR Edition Makes its Debut in Canada, Remains Unavailable in the United States
The Hyundai Elantra N TCR Edition, a high-performance, track-inspired variant of the Elantra N, has been unveiled for the 2026 model year. As of mid-2025, this edition is officially confirmed and available for order in Canada, with prices starting at CAD $47,599 for the manual transmission and $49,199 for the DCT. However, there is currently no official release or direct availability announced for the Elantra N TCR Edition in the United States.
The Elantra N TCR Edition draws its name and technology from Hyundai’s Touring Car Racing program. It features a 2.0L turbocharged engine producing up to 286 hp (in N Grin Shift mode) and specialized motorsport-inspired components.
Equipped with N Performance brakes, including four-piston monoblock calipers at the front with two-piece rotors, the TCR Edition boasts a carbon fiber swan-neck rear spoiler and a set of black 19-inch N TCR forged alloy wheels. Inside, the steering wheel, parking brake handle, and gear shifter are wrapped in Alcantara, while blue seat belts and N Performance carpets complete the sporty interior.
Hyundai Canada is proud to celebrate the vibrant N community in Canada and is thrilled to mark this milestone with them. The event celebrating the launch of the Elantra N TCR Edition in Canada will be held at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Ontario during August, also commemorating the 10th anniversary of Hyundai’s N performance sub-brand.
Michael Ricciuto, director of product and corporate strategy at Hyundai Canada, stated that the N brand is about passion for driving and the community it creates. For those in the United States interested in the Elantra N TCR Edition, it currently cannot be purchased there officially, though it may potentially become available later or through special ordering—though no announcements confirm that at this time.
