Stephan Sharma, CEO of Burgenland Energy, stated that the photovoltaic system takes the next big step. With a planned output of around 20 megawatts, the expanded plant is expected to generate over 20 million kilowatt hours of climate-friendly electricity annually.

Meanwhile, the Biosolar WVG, celebrating its jubilee year 2024/25, plans to renovate and upgrade the facility in Unterrabnitz with additional 541 m2 of solar collectors. This cooperative, one of the first biomass heating plants in the country, has been supplying households with environmentally friendly energy for three decades.
