SAS broadens access to lounges at 35 European airports
SAS Scandinavian Airlines is set to enhance the travel experience for its Business Class passengers with an expansion of its lounge offering. The airline has partnered with multiple established lounge operators to establish new lounges in various cities across Europe and Scandinavia.
The expansion is not limited to the region, as SAS aims to provide a superior travel experience beyond the borders of Scandinavia. Among the first locations to receive the new lounges are Bergen, Helsinki, Billund, Stavanger, and Aalborg.
The specific lounge operators involved in the expansion have not been disclosed yet. However, it is known that the partner firms working with SAS have agreements already in place in the mentioned cities, enabling access to around 35 additional lounges across Europe and Scandinavia starting October 1, 2025.
The new lounges will be available exclusively for Business Class passengers and will offer enhanced amenities and services to make their travel experience more comfortable and enjoyable. The locations for the additional lounges will be announced at a later date.
The expansion includes 35 new locations in Europe and Scandinavia initially, but the exact number of new lounge locations beyond this has not been specified. The rollout of these new lounges is scheduled to begin on October 1.
This move by SAS Scandinavian Airlines is part of its commitment to providing superior travel experiences for its passengers. The airline is strategically placing the new lounge locations in cities beyond the initial five, with the aim of expanding its presence in more locations beyond the initial 35 in Europe and Scandinavia.
Stay tuned for more updates on the locations of the new lounges as they are announced. SAS Scandinavian Airlines looks forward to providing its Business Class passengers with an even better travel experience.
