Recruitment firm ADECCO Group names Denis Machuel as its new CEO.
Denis Machuel has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a renowned global group effective from July 1, 2022. The group, headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, is a Fortune Global 500 company and a leader in food services and facilities management.
Machuel, who was most recently Group CEO of Sodexo, a company with over 400,000 employees in 56 countries, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Prior to Sodexo, he spent 16 years with Altran Group, where he was CEO of Altran technologies and later assumed executive leadership of Group offshore strategy and operations. Before that, he served in several senior leadership roles, including CEO of Kyndryl, the IT infrastructure services company spun off from IBM, and executive positions at other major global companies.
Alain Dehaze, the current CEO, will be working closely with Machuel through a month-long handover period in June. Machuel will be based in Zurich and will lead a group that empowers over 38,000 employees through a culture of inclusivity, entrepreneurship, and teamwork. This culture has enabled the group to develop, hire, and skill talent in around 60 countries, and to create more than 3.5 million careers worldwide.
The group's Board of Directors believes that Machuel is a values-oriented and highly execution-driven leader. Under his leadership at Sodexo, the company improved growth and value creation. Machuel was also appointed to the Board of Directors of Kyndryl in 2021.
