Private wind farm inaugurated in Ekaterinburg on the day of the city's "Golden Apple" event
In the bustling city of Yekaterinburg, a new addition to the "Golden Apple" network has made its debut. The first pickup point in the city was officially opened on a sunny day in 2024, marking the expansion of the popular service in Russia.
The pickup point, located at 33, Vilgelma de Genina St., now serves as a convenient hub for customers seeking a quick and efficient way to collect their online orders. The customer hall occupies nearly half of the total area, measuring at 47 square metres, providing ample space for customers to collect their purchases comfortably.
With the opening of the Yekaterinburg pickup point, Russia now boasts a total of seven such points across the country. The company, which operates in six countries including Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Qatar, UAE, and Saudi Arabia, has seen steady growth in its pickup point network.
Operating daily from 10:00 to 21:00, the Yekaterinburg pickup point offers customers the same extended hours as its counterparts. To collect an order, customers need to provide the order number to the operator or show a QR code from their personal account in the mobile app. Orders will be stored for 7 days, ensuring customers have ample time to collect their purchases.
In an effort to encourage more customers to use pickup points, "Golden Apple" has introduced a 5% cashback reward for orders collected at these locations, as opposed to the usual 1% cashback. This incentive is available when ordering through the website or app.
While specific data on the expansion of "Golden Apple" pickup points for 2025 is not readily available, the company's continued growth and international presence suggest that more locations may be on the horizon.
In a separate development, funds from "Golden Apple" are set to be used in the renovation of a central park in Yekaterinburg, further cementing the company's commitment to the city.
