In a stunning turn of events, the recently released Suzuki Swift hybrid model has taken home a remarkable sixth major award. The budget-friendly five-seater hatchback, starting from just £19,699, has cemented its place as the best supermini at the prestigious Fleet World Great British Fleet Awards.

Pushing the boundaries of affordability, the compact Swift hybrid is powered by an efficient 1.2-liter 3-cylinder mild hybrid petrol engine. Offering money-saving 64 mpg fuel efficiency, low 99 g/km CO2 emissions, a top speed of 103 mph, and a zippy 0-62 mph acceleration in 12.5 seconds, it's available with a five-speed manual transmission or CVT automatic gearbox, and offers an all-wheel-drive option as well. The Swift can be had in Motion or Ultra trim levels, with the latter being a £1,250 upgrade.

The Swift's earlier accolades include the Top Gear compact car of the year award. Such glowing accolades prove that customers are quickly catching on to the hybrid's appeal.
