Stobart Europe Strengthens Automotive Logistics with Major Merger

Stobart Europe, a leading player in automotive logistics, is set to strengthen its position with a significant merger and expansion of services. The company, operating as Stobart Automotive, offers extensive vehicle storage and inspection services, along with a robust delivery network.

The merger between Stobart Europe and Suloja is expected to create a more efficient transport network, better serving automotive customers across Europe. Stobart Automotive, a division of Stobart Europe, currently operates in Belgium, the Czech Republic, and the Netherlands, managing a fleet of 100 car transporters. With the acquisition of Suloja, which transported over 35,000 vehicles in Germany in 2022, the combined fleet will significantly increase, enhancing Stobart's capacity and reach.

Stobart Automotive provides a range of services, including storage for up to 8,000 vehicles, a delivery center in Genk, and pre-delivery inspection and remarketing services. The merger with Suloja, which generated €6.8m ($7.4m) in turnover last year, is seen as beneficial for employees and customers alike. Raf Hustinx, CEO of Stobart Europe, has expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, highlighting its positive impact on Stobart's position in European automotive logistics.

The merger of Stobart Europe and Suloja is poised to create a powerful force in European automotive logistics.
