Munster Residents Invited to Energy Advice Sessions on Oct 7-8

Munster residents are invited to upcoming energy advice sessions on October 7 and 8 at the House of Sustainability on Hammer Street 1. These sessions, part of Munster's climate city initiative, are open to landlords, tenants, and homeowners, and focus on reducing CO2 emissions and heating costs.

On Tuesday, October 7, appointments can be made in advance between 9 am and 5 pm. The following day, Wednesday 8, walk-ins are welcome from 2 pm to 5 pm. The sessions are led by the City of Kiel's Climate Protection department and are connected to their sustainability and climate change initiatives.

Landlords are legally obligated to contribute to these costs, with the amount varying based on the building's energy efficiency. The Consumer Center and Munster's Climate Office will provide advice on reducing fuel consumption, CO2 emissions, and associated costs. The sessions will discuss strategies to lower CO2 costs for heating buildings in Munster.

Munster's energy advice sessions on October 7 and 8 aim to empower residents to reduce their carbon footprint and save on heating costs. With the support of the City of Kiel's Climate Protection department, these sessions are a significant step towards Munster's goal of becoming a climate city.
