Miss Universe Unveils Blockchain Voting App for 74th Competition
The Miss Universe Organization (MUO) and Zetrix, a Layer-1 public blockchain, have joined forces to revolutionize fan engagement. The result is the Miss Universe Global Blockchain Voting App, set to debut on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store for the 74th Miss Universe Competition.
The app, a first in Miss Universe history, enables secure and verifiable voting for fans worldwide. It marks a historic milestone in the pageant's 73-year legacy. Key features include credible voting, AI-powered companions inspired by contestants, and exclusive updates.
Zetrix's blockchain technology ensures trusted and interactive voting. Dato' Fadzli Shah, Co-Founder of Zetrix, highlighted the app's development through collaboration with pageants in Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and Hong Kong SAR. Raul Rocha Cantu, President of MUO, praised the app for uniting cultures, amplifying voices, and celebrating diversity on a global scale. The app's launch was announced at the W Kuala Lumpur on September 26, 2025.
