Messe Düsseldorf Names Frank Schindler as New Director of ProWein Düsseldorf
Messe Düsseldorf has appointed Frank Schindler as the new Director of ProWein Düsseldorf, effective October 15, 2022. Schindler succeeds Peter Schmitz, who is returning to his former department.
Schindler will report directly to Michael Degen, Executive Director Trade Fairs, and work under Marius Berlemann, CEO of Messe Düsseldorf. He brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously served as CEO of the Esterhazy winery in Burgenland and Vinum Weinhandel GmbH in South Tyrol.
With a wine academic training (WSET) and a master's degree in International Wine Marketing, Schindler is well-equipped to drive forward the global strategic positioning and international marketing of ProWein Düsseldorf and its international events. As Director, he will oversee the project management of these events and head the project team in Düsseldorf.
Frank Schindler's appointment as Director of ProWein Düsseldorf marks an exciting new chapter for the global wine industry. His extensive experience and expertise in wine and international marketing are set to strengthen the event's global entry and strategic positioning.
