Mercadona allocates €290 million in recapitalization
Mercadona, the Spanish supermarket chain, has expanded its footprint in Portugal with the opening of a new logistics hub in Almeirim. This state-of-the-art facility, operational since June 27, 2025, is the largest logistics center Mercadona has ever built in Portugal and required an investment of 290 million euros.
