Massive poultry facility valued at over 13 billion rubles slated for construction in Khabarovsk
In the heart of Russia's Far East, a significant development is underway. The Corporation for the Development of the Far East and Arctic (CDFA) and LLC "Khabarovsk Broiler" have agreed to construct a closed-type poultry farm in Khabarovsk, with an estimated investment of over 13 billion rubles.
The project, scheduled for completion by 2027, encompasses a full-cycle enterprise, including slaughtering and processing workshops, incubation, feed production, waste treatment, and wastewater treatment facilities. This ambitious venture is expected to produce 50,000 tons of chicken meat annually.
In a separate development, LLC "Khabarovsk Broiler" has signed an agreement of intent with the Chinese company Dandong TICI Flowers Co. Ltd. for the construction of a modern greenhouse complex in the village of Osinovaya Rechka. The investment volume for this project is yet to be specified.
The poultry farm, located in Khabarovsk, will create 600 new jobs in the region. Meanwhile, the greenhouse complex construction plans were confirmed in August, with the contract for the construction of the modern green tunnel signed by the CDFA, LLC "Khabarovsk Broiler," and the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU).
However, no specific details about the supply of vegetables by LLC "Khabarovsk Broiler" to Khabarovsk Krai and Far East regions were mentioned in either of these paragraphs. It is worth noting that the investor, LLC "Khabarovsk Broiler", plans to use deep processing technologies developed by Russian specialists during the construction of the poultry farm, but this was not mentioned in relation to the greenhouse complex.
This strategic investment is a testament to the ongoing efforts to bolster the economy of the Khabarovsk region and the Far East, providing opportunities for growth and development in the agricultural sector.
