Managers of repute are summoned by Hocenko for the purpose of enhancing shipping on the Irtish River.
In a recent development, the "Elbrus" club and Omsk Region Governor Vitaly Khotsenko have joined forces to promote and support the resumption of full-scale navigation on the Irtysh River. This educational expedition aims to enhance the socio-economic development of the region by leveraging river transport, which is seen as crucial for regional connectivity and growth.
During a video meeting, Governor Khotsenko proposed that club members collaborate on regional development projects. The project format will be informal and highly effective for joint work, engaging representatives from regional authorities, the business community, and youth organisations. Tatyana Dyakonova, State Duma deputy and chair of the "Elbrus" club, also participated in the meeting.
The focus of the expedition will be on economic and humanitarian cooperation, with the project involving transport policy, youth policy, cultural development, and investment infrastructure. One of the discussed projects involves finding solutions to resume full-scale navigation on the Irtysh River, which aims to transport goods not only within Russia but also to Kazakhstan.
Club members will visit the Omsk region to test and refine initial prototypes. Concrete proposals for the project are expected to be formed within a week. The collaborative work between the "Elbrus" club and the Omsk Region Governor is set to engage interregional and external economic ties, fostering cooperation among local authorities, experts, and stakeholders.
It's worth noting that the "Elbrus" club are winners and finalists of the "Leaders of Russia" management competition. With their expertise and commitment to regional development, this collaboration holds great potential for the Omsk region's future. The aim of this collaboration is to create a more connected and prosperous region, leveraging the Irtysh River as a key asset for growth and development.
The "Elbrus" club, with their extensive experience from winning and being finalists in the "Leaders of Russia" management competition, are planning to engage with representatives from the financial, transportation, and business sectors to collaborate on regional development projects within the Omsk region. One of these projects focuses on revitalizing the Irtysh River for full-scale navigation, aiming to enhance the industry and socio-economic growth of the region, as well as fostering external economic ties with Kazakhstan.
