Luxury Cars Owned by Floyd Mayweather Following Vegas Lawsuit Settlement
Floyd Mayweather's Car Collection and Courtroom Drama
Floyd Mayweather, the retired boxing champion, is known for his extravagant lifestyle, and his passion for rare cars is no exception. Despite ongoing legal issues, Mayweather's love for expensive cars continues unabated.
Mayweather's car collection is a significant part of his identity, woven into the fabric of his larger-than-life persona. His collection includes a variety of luxury vehicles, such as Ferraris, Bentleys, McLarens, Rolls-Royces, G-Wagons, and even some rarer models like the Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita.
One of the rarest cars in Mayweather's collection, the Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita, was sold in 2017 to fund a $20 million yacht. Another notable addition is the Bugatti Chiron, purchased for $3.5 million. The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse, capable of hitting over 250 miles per hour, is another speed demon in his garage.
However, a recent courtroom drama has arisen over a 2018 Maybach Landaulet. The disagreement started when Mayweather posted a video of four cars he bought from Vegas Auto Gallery on Instagram, which has since been deleted. Mayweather claims that the car was tied up in lawsuits before his purchase, parts were swapped out, and the price tag was inflated.
Vegas Auto Gallery denies these allegations, calling Mayweather's lawsuit 'laughable and dead on arrival.' Mayweather's team argues that the dealership failed to provide critical paperwork such as the title, odometer certification, EPA compliance, and customs clearance documents.
The courtroom drama may take months to resolve. This is not the first time Mayweather has been involved in a legal dispute over his car collection. In 2017, he discovered that the Maybach Landaulet he purchased was originally bought for $728,000, while he was charged $1.2 million.
Mayweather has claimed to own close to 100 cars, carefully organized by color and city. In one notable spree, he spent $7.7 million on multiple luxury vehicles, including Bugattis, Ferraris, a Lamborghini, a Porsche, a Maybach, a Bentley, a Range Rover, and multiple Rolls-Royces.
This courtroom battle is just the latest subplot in a career defined by extravagance for Floyd Mayweather. As the case unfolds, it serves as a reminder of his passion for rare cars and his willingness to spend millions to satiate it, despite the legal hurdles that may come his way.
