Latin American fleet company, Fleet LatAm, announces the addition of Karla Beltran to its advisory board

Karla Beltran, a seasoned fleet industry expert, has been appointed as a new member of the Fleet LatAm Advisory Board. This move strengthens the organisation's mission to drive business growth and innovation within the fleet solutions sector across Latin America.

Based in North America, Beltran is responsible for sourcing fleets in the US, Mexico, Canada, and Costa Rica at Schneider Electric. With her extensive experience and deep understanding of the industry, she will bring valuable insights to the table as she contributes to the strategic direction of Fleet LatAm.

In her new role, Beltran will emphasise the importance of guiding mobility stakeholders, staying ahead of trends, and professionalising the industry to inspire fleet managers across Latin America. She has highlighted the professionalization of the industry as a key focus, and her role will be instrumental in advancing Fleet LatAm's mission.

The Fleet LatAm Advisory Board focuses on conferences, online events, industry training, and fostering communication and networking within the sector. With Beltran's addition, the board now comprises 23 members, each bringing their unique expertise to the table.

Leaders, according to Beltran, must understand the impact that corporate fleets have on their companies and employees. Fleet managers must follow market trends, review best practices, and aim for zero accidents. These principles will guide the work of the advisory board as they strive to improve fleet management practices and address region-specific issues.

Fleet vehicles remain among the most frequent targets of theft in countries like Mexico[1]. Through her position on the advisory board, Beltran will help shape initiatives and policies that support the growth and modernization of fleet operations in Latin America, driving improvements that address regional challenges and support industry stakeholders.

Fleet LatAm encourages joining its Community and receiving the Fleet LatAm Insight, a monthly newsletter with the latest trends and developments in the region. By staying informed and engaged, fleet managers across Latin America can benefit from the collective wisdom and guidance of industry leaders like Karla Beltran.
