Knaus Tabbert experiences a significant 20% decrease in generated income.
German caravan producer Knaus Tabbert took a significant hit in the first quarter of this year, seeing its revenue shrink by over 20%. But fear not, the company is confident that their game plan will help turn things around!
Knaus Tabbert, famous for brands like Knaus, Weinsberg, and T@B caravans, made headlines for a spike in revenue decline from €376.7 million to €295.6 million. This massive 21.5% drop was chiefly due to the company's decision to pause production last year to manage inventory backlogs.
Their efforts to reduce inventory, both at the factory and dealerships, led to a decrease in finished goods and work-in-progress of €55.5 million over the same period in 2024. This is in contrast to a much smaller decrease of only €9.1 million in the same period the previous year.
Despite the initial hit, Knaus Tabbert is optimistic about its future, predicting a total revenue of €1 billion for the entirety of 2025. So, say goodbye to those worry lines!
But don't worry, they've got a fresh team in place to set them on the right path. The new management roster includes Jochen Hein, who's return to Knaus Tabbert as Technical Director couldn't have come at a better time. Matjaž Grm, previously Chief Sales Officer at Adria Mobil, is also on board as a consultant, ready to work his sales magic.
