The whole shebang with Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht's debt debacle has finally met its end. The actor and musician stand accused of owing Tyrolean hotelier Wilhelm Steindl a hefty sum of nearly 14,000 euros. But guess what? He's coughed up the dough at last!

Steindl spilled the tea to dpa: "You bet your boots, I got a bank statement today revealing the cash has been stashed away in my lawyer's account, so consider that case closed, baby!"

But let's rewind back to the beginning and pour yourself a drink. The debts arose during a wild, multi-day birthday bash at the four-star "Sonne" hotel in Kirchberg/Tyrol, where Ochsenknecht celebrated his 30th with a posse of friends. The good times rolled on, but the partygoers knew how to throw one heck of a hangover.

Fast-forward to Steindl, who recalls: "Yeah, the shindig was a real riot. They knocked back quite a bit." In the end, Ochsenknecht couldn't toss a loan on his shiny plastic credit card, so he asked for a wire transfer.

But the payment never came, despite multiple reminders. Steindl had no choice but to take the matter to court. Several rulings ruled in his favor, but the cash never arrived.

"That's why we also dropped a dime on the public prosecutor's office," Steindl points out. The public prosecutor's office in Innsbruck is currently probing Ochsenknecht for pulling a fast one.

The Big Hustle: Ochsenknecht before the Remand Court

Ochsenknecht found himself slapped with an arrest warrant on June 25, 2025, at Hamburg Airport. The Austrian public prosecutor's office accuses him of committing a serious swindle.

Whether this means the 33-year-old will be locked up or have toplya funds to secure his release is up for decision during the course of Thursday. Steindl couldn't care less either way: "Honestly, it don't make much difference to me whether he's behind bars or not."

One thing's for sure: Ochsenknecht won't receive a warm welcome at Steindl's hotel any time soon. "He's broke and I ain't interested in hosting him at my establishment," the hotelier points out.
