Investor-focused startups in the digital finance sector are encouraged to showcase their business proposals during the Africa Money & DeFI Summit, taking place in Accra.
The Africa Money & DeFi Summit 2025 has officially opened its application process for African fintech, DeFi, Web3, and embedded finance startups. This highly anticipated event is set to take place in Accra, Ghana, on September 24–25, 2025.
To qualify for the summit, startups must have at least one African co-founder or be headquartered in Africa. They must also offer a product or service that is already in the market (or have a minimum viable product with traction) and be built for scale. Applicants must commit to presenting in person at the event.
The deadline for applications is August 13, 2025. The Africa Money & DeFi Summit does not specify any age requirements for applicants and does not mention any restrictions on the number of applications a startup can submit.
Selected ventures will have the opportunity to pitch live on stage to investors, network with industry peers, and gain insights from leaders in the field. A limited number of slots are available for ventures to showcase live on stage.
