IGT's revenue from slot machines sales
International Game Technology (IGT), a leading name in the slot machine industry, has reported impressive results for its third quarter in 2023. The company's slot-machine sales surged by 12 percent, reaching a total of $259.2 million.
This growth can be attributed to the increased demand for casino-like games, a trend that has been on the rise. This heightened interest in gaming has contributed significantly to IGT's revenue.
In addition to the boost in slot-machine sales, IGT's interactive revenue also saw a substantial rise. The company's interactive revenue for the third quarter jumped by 69 percent, amounting to $72.5 million.
This growth was not limited to slot-machine sales alone. IGT also reported a 41 percent increase in its third-quarter profit. The earnings per share for the quarter stood at 33 cents.
