"Hermes-Ural" Commences Production of Cistern Components at New Facility in Ekaterinburg
Hermes-Ural LLC Expands Production Capacity with New Workshop in Yekaterinburg
Hermes-Ural LLC, a Russian manufacturer specializing in components for tanks and cisterns, is set to double its production capacity with the opening of a new workshop in Yekaterinburg. The expansion was announced by Polina Sharova, owner of Hermes-Ural LLC.
The modernization of the new workshop includes a series of updates, such as replacing the heating, insulating the facade walls, installing new windows, repairing the roof, and purchasing new equipment. The investments in the new equipment amounted to 225 million rubles. Upon opening, Hermes-Ural LLC's total capacity will increase to 6,000 bottoms per year.
100 million rubles of the investment were provided by the federal Industrial Development Fund as a preferential loan under the "Components" program. The components produced at the facility can withstand high pressure and are in demand in various industries, including pharmaceutical, chemical, food, oil and gas processing, and utilities.
The new workshop will be equipped with modern machinery, enabling the production of up to 3,000 bottoms annually. This increase in production volume and reduction in manufacturing times are expected to help Hermes-Ural LLC meet the growing demand from their major customers, which include Uralkrimash, Sibneftemash, Kriogenmash, and GMS Neftebash, leading Russian manufacturers of storage equipment.
Polina Sharova's leadership has been recognised with the "Young Industrialist of the Year" award in 2023, and the company's modernization efforts have been facilitated by the "Labor Productivity" national project. The project allowed Hermes-Ural LLC to optimize its processes and significantly increase its efficiency.
