Governor Hocenko discusses the mend of the Omsk-Muromcevo-Sedelnikov highway segment.

Updates on the ongoing road modernization project for the Omsk – Муромцеvo – Седельникоvo regional highway, specifically the stretch from kilometer 276 to 279, are exciting! This undertaking is part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life," launched by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

As things stand, the contractor, LLC "Stroytrast," has initiated the process by leveling the existing road surface. The plans include widening the driving lane, restoring damaged sections, strengthening the base, laying two layers of asphalt concrete, strengthening the shoulders, painting road markings, and installing new road signs.

Governor Vitaly Khotchenko declared that the work is aiming to boost safety levels and offer comfy driving conditions on one of the region's vital routes.

Now, let's talk about the project in more detail... The mega-project scope includes improving durability, ride quality, and accommodating increasing traffic by expanding the roadway. Modern drainage systems are being constructed, and roadside facilities such as signage, guardrails, and lighting are being built or updated.

What's more, safety barriers and pedestrian crossings have been strategically planned. So far, earthworks and base prep are checked off the list, with around 70% of the paving completed, and drainage and roadside infrastructure installations at about 60%.

Work started early in 2025, and the estimated completion for this segment is set for late Q3 2025 (September). Final inspections and commissioning are scheduled for October 2025. The modernization will significantly reduce travel time and enhance overall road safety. Additionally, the road's durability will see a substantial improvement, reducing maintenance costs long-term.

Finally, it's funded through the Federal budget under the "Infrastructure for Life" initiative, and the allocated budget for this section is approximately 150 million rubles. Funds are being used effectively with transparent reporting mechanisms.

So, buckle up and hang on tight! By late Q3 2025, you'll be cruising along these improved roads in style! 🚗🔥💪

The Governor Vitaly Khotchenko's project aims to boost not only safety levels but also comfort in the transportation sector, specifically on the Omsk – Муромцево – Седельникоvo regional highway. This comprehensive project, part of the national "Infrastructure for Life" initiative, also covers the finance industry as funds for this section are approximately 150 million rubles, allocated through the Federal budget. The industry of transportation and finance are poised to see significant improvements with the modernization, offering reduced travel time, enhanced safety, and stable long-term road maintenance costs.
