In a significant move, a leading global law firm has announced the promotion of 47 lawyers to partner and director positions across various locations worldwide, effective January 1, 2021. Agnieszka Braciszewska was promoted to corporate, M&A and securities in Warsaw, Poland. Joining her in this practice group is Antoine Thibaud in Paris, France, and Nicholas Wilson in Hong Kong. In Australia, Steven Choi was promoted to real estate/construction and engineering, while Alexandra Shields and Jay Edward Slovacek Greathouse were promoted to employment and labor and corporate, M&A and securities/healthcare transactions, respectively. Rowan Weaver was promoted to corporate, M&A and securities in Toronto, Canada, and Alexandre Roth was promoted to banking and finance in Paris, France. Lastly, Nicholas Wilson was promoted to corporate, M&A and securities in Hong Kong.

The banking and finance practice group saw several promotions. In London, England, Julia Lloyd was promoted to tax, Kirstin Russell and Andrew Williams were promoted to banking and finance, and Joris Ravelli was promoted to banking and finance in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Noah Schein was promoted to banking and finance in Toronto, Canada, and Angela Croker was promoted to banking and finance in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In South Africa, Bryce Perrett was promoted to litigation and disputes in Durban, and Sa'ood Lahri was promoted to litigation and disputes in Johannesburg.
