Gazprom Neft's Annual Professional Skills Competition Concludes in St. Petersburg

The annual professional skills competition among employees of Gazprom Neft's gas stations and oil base infrastructure concluded recently in St. Petersburg. The event, an essential part of Gazprom Neft's personnel policy, attracted over 170 specialists who demonstrated the best results in regional qualifying rounds.

This year, the competition served as a career guidance platform for students, providing them with an opportunity to immerse themselves in professions at gas stations and oil bases, learn about the production tasks that specialists tackle. For the first time, students from relevant vocational schools visited the competition venues, gaining valuable insights into the workings of fuel-logistics facilities.

The competition had 16 categories, including operators and managers of gas stations, engineering workers, metrologists, fuel quality control specialists, tanker drivers, and other professionals ensuring fuel logistics and client service for motorists. The tanker driver competition included demonstrations of driving skills and tasks along a fuel transportation route from oil bases to gas stations.

Dmitry Shepelsky, the Director of Regional Sales at Gazprom Neft, expressed confidence that this experience will serve as motivation for students' future employment and open up interesting career prospects. He also stated that the competition offers a platform for exchanging experiences, testing knowledge, and entering the talent pool of highly qualified specialists.

Unfortunately, the results of the 2022 Gazprom Neft annual professional skills competition in St. Petersburg are not publicly reported online. However, the competition is known to be a significant event in Gazprom Neft's professional traditions.
