In a recent decision, the Buchloe Building Committee has turned down an agricultural complex application located on Eichenlohstraße in Lindenberg. The committee voted against the developer's application without further discussion, citing potential conflicts with an adjacent agricultural property as a primary concern.

The agricultural property in question is currently used for dairy cattle farming, situated right in the heart of the village, as explained by Mayor Poeschl. The proposed agricultural complex, if built, could potentially interfere with the farmer's future expansion wishes, according to Building Office Manager Tugemann. Such a conflict, it was ruled, would be a significant intervention in the expansion possibilities of agriculture, making it unreasonable.

Originally, the developer had planned an L-shaped building with north-oriented apartments. However, following the rejection, the developer has since changed the plan, with all apartments now oriented towards the south.

Meanwhile, the Building Committee has approved an agricultural machine hall in Honsolgen, located on the Koppenhofer road and spanning 480 square meters. This approval indicates a continued support for agricultural development in the area, while the rejection of the agricultural complex in Lindenberger Eichenlohstraße underscores the committee's commitment to preserving agricultural land and minimising conflicts with existing farming operations.

The identity of the person who wanted to build the agricultural complex in Lindenberg remains undisclosed. Despite this, the rejection serves as a reminder of the importance of careful planning and consideration when it comes to development projects in close proximity to agricultural land.
