Let's Get Down to Bankin'! VTB's 2025 Expansion Plan

In a move to dominate the Russian banking scene, VTB plans to establish a whopping 400 new offices across the country's regions by 2025!

As of now, VTB has already opened 70 new bank branches and aims to launch an additional 300 by year's end. This massive expansion is partially fueled by the bank's integration with RNKB and Post Bank.

The majority of these new offices will be set up in regions boasting a high demand for banking services. During a recent press conference, VTB's Deputy Chairman, Rustam Ermakov, dropped the bombshell ahead of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) 2025.

At present, VTB has a presence in all Russian regions, with 1,638 branches in 622 settlements. By the end of 2025, over 700 branches (36% of the entire network) will undergo renovation.

VTB's integration with RNKB will bring an additional 176 offices to the table, with the merge expected to be completed by October 2025. Meanwhile, the transformation of Post Bank's sales points is currently underway.

By October, the rebranding of over 190 client centers will kick off, with 68 of them receiving new signage this year. The full integration of Post Bank is expected by May 2026. In total, 240 RNKB and Post Bank offices will make the switch to the VTB brand in 2025.

What sets VTB apart is that their clientele can access modern financial services not merely through bank offices but also via courier delivery, online banking, or nearby Russian Post offices.

So, bankin' ain't just about crunching numbers anymore, it's a moveable feast! Just holler at VTB. Got questions? Check em out at https://www.vtb.ru - Rustam Ermakov, VTB's Deputy Chairman.

In line with its expansion plan, VTB aims to penetrate the Russian business and finance industry more aggressively by establishing 400 new banking-and-insurance offices across the country, with a significant focus on regions with high demand for banking services. By 2025, VTB anticipates integrating additional offices from RNKB and Post Bank, further bolstering its presence across multiple regions.
