Expansion of geographical reach for SEZ "Titan Valley": Progress and Popularity on the Rise
The Special Economic Zone (SEZ) "Titan Valley" is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, and it's not slowing down. The SEZ, established by the Government of the Russian Federation in December 2010, is continuing its project "Acting Players" with the aim of promoting prosperity in the region.
Alexei Utyupin, Director of Operations and Resident Support at SEZ "Titan Valley", expressed hope for an expansion of information cooperation with the "Regional Newspaper". He praised the comprehensive and qualitative presentation of the industrial and investment potential of Sverdlovsk Oblast by the newspaper.
The SEZ "Titan Valley" has been instrumental in the growth of the region. Thanks to its creation, a new industry for the region - aircraft production - has emerged. For the first time in the Sverdlovsk region, civil aircraft production is underway, as specified by Stanislav Dorofeev, the Executive Director of SEZ "Titan Valley". Among the residents of the SEZ "Titan Valley" are large international companies, such as Boeing.
The Ural Civil Aviation Plant is deploying serial production on the Uktus platform, thanks to comprehensive work from engineering preparation to project support. In addition, a specialized department for training specialists in the aviation industry has been opened at the Ural Federal University.
The SEZ "Titan Valley" currently has 25 residents operating on two platforms - "Verkhnyaya Salda" and "Uktus". Infrastructure is being developed from scratch to attract new enterprises, as stated by Stanislav Dorofeev.
The number of residents in the SEZ "Titan Valley" may increase in the third quarter due to the almost complete process of assigning the status of a new industrial platform in Alapayevsk. SEZ "Titan Valley" hopes for a productive cooperation with "Regional Newspaper" and hopes to find a place in its pages as an example of effective work and openness to new opportunities.
"Regional Newspaper's" special issues for INNOPROM-2025, including those in Arabic and Chinese, were highly praised by foreign partners, according to Alexei Utyupin. The newspaper has previously reported that SEZ "Titan Valley" has been recognized as one of the most economically effective SEZs in the country.
The priority sectors of the SEZ are aviation, equipment and component production for machine-building and metallurgy, wood processing, and the medical industry. SEZ "Titan Valley" and "Regional Newspaper" share a common goal of the prosperity of the region, as emphasized by Alexei Utyupin, who stated that the goal of SEZ "Titan Valley" and "Regional Newspaper" is the prosperity of the region.
