Europcar Germany appoints Timm Burmeister in the role of commercial director
In a strategic move to expand Europcar Mobility Group's presence as a premium brand in the dynamic mobility sector, Timm Burmeister has been appointed as the Commercial Director, effective August 1, 2025. Burmeister, a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the car rental and mobility service industry, will lead the German division of the company.
Burmeister's career in the car rental industry began in 2004, and he holds a qualification as a Handelsfachwirt (commercial specialist). Prior to joining Europcar, he served as the Director of Global Business Development at Torqeedo GmbH, where he led international sales teams and gained expertise in global business development, particularly in electric propulsion solutions.
Michael Knippel, CEO of Europcar Germany, warmly welcomed Burmeister to the company, expressing confidence in his abilities to develop excellent mobility solutions for both existing and new customers.
