In a bid to boost employment opportunities, a job fair was recently held at the Al-Farabi Palace of Schoolchildren in the Almaty district. The event, initiated by the apparatus of the Almaty district akimat, attracted over 400 job seekers within the first 40 minutes, with approximately 1,500 jobs presented from various industries, production enterprises, service companies, and educational institutions.

Communal services employers, including those from industrial parks, were seeking positions ranging from drivers to management. Stores and supermarkets presented around 120 vacancies for salespersons and cashiers, while financial organizations offered advice on employment and state support measures. State educational institutions offered around 13 vacancies for teachers, nannies, and kindergarten teachers, and healthcare institutions offered 10 vacancies for nurses and 20 for sanitary workers.

Notably, "Zelenstroy" LLP offered around 30 positions for city greening, and the Police Department applied for more than 30 vacant positions, mainly requiring law enforcement officers and police personnel. Job seekers had the opportunity to communicate with HR department representatives and leave their resumes at the fair.

Visitors received consultations from representatives of the Joltap program, the city's Employment and Social Protection Department, and the Presidential Administration's Office, which submitted an application for nearly 60 vacancies in various fields.

While a citywide job fair was held in the Alatau district of Almaty, organized by the City Career Center at the Kazakh Automobile and Road Institute, the exact vacancies, participating employers, and attendance details for this event were not specified. However, it serves as an indication that job fairs may be a regular occurrence in the district.

For current job fair schedules and vacancies in Almaty, local government or employment service websites and job portals may provide more comprehensive details. It would be best to contact the Almaty City Career Center directly or check their local announcements for specific information on vacancies, employers, and attendance expectations.

In addition to the job fair, other industry-focused events such as the International Home Textile Exhibition, Central Asia Fashion Fair, and an International Research Conference on Arts, Commerce, and Business Management are scheduled to take place in Almaty around the same period. These events may offer networking opportunities but are not primarily job fairs.
