Job Opening: Department Head of Internal Audit at Sparkasse Bad Oeynhausen - Porta Westfalica

Sparkasse Bad Oeynhausen - Porta Westfalica, a leading financial institution in the region with 200 colleagues, is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional for the role of Department Head of Internal Revenue Service Audit. The role involves managing and shaping the internal audit on a full-time or part-time basis. The successful candidate will create risk-oriented audit plans, carry out audit assignments independently or with other auditors, participate in projects, and ensure the quality and further development of the entire area.

As the head of the internal audit department, the candidate will act as a contact person for specialists and managers, advising on problem-solving in a team-oriented manner. The internal audit team at Sparkasse Bad Oeynhausen consists of five employees and functions as an internal consultant for the organisation.

The ideal candidate should have completed studies, preferably as a bank/sparkasse business economist or with a comparable qualification. Several years of professional experience in the internal audit of a bank/sparkasse are required. The candidate should possess excellent communication and team skills, analytical thinking and action, goal-oriented and entrepreneurial work methods, high self-motivation, and a willingness to perform.
