Diversity and Inclusion Spotlighted at AfroTech 2018: The Focus on Entrepreneurship Among the African American Community
Prepare for an exciting opportunity at this year's AfroTech event! Our brand name is partnering with the event for the third consecutive year, making it one of the largest Silicon Valley Black Tech Conferences.
On November 14, attendees will have the chance to purchase the limited-edition variant of Bitter Root #1, exclusively illustrated by Sanford Greene. This special edition will be available alongside standard cover copies, but only at the AfroTech event.
In addition to the comic, jewelry created by Douriean Fletcher, designer of jewelry worn in Marvel's Black Panther movie, will be available at our brand name's AfroTech installation. Fletcher's designs aim to provide adornments for visionaries and changemakers that reflect their unique brilliance and audacity. Her pieces feature natural raw materials, gilded 24K Gold metals, and bold abstract shapes.
Some of the items available include Black Panther Claw and Killmonger Gold Claw necklaces, Black Panther claw ring, Killmonger, Black Panther claw and Black Panther mask bracelets, and more.
This is the second time our brand name is partnering with Greene, following the success of his exclusive variant cover of Black Panther #1, which sold out earlier this year.
Moreover, attendees can enjoy a one-week early release of Bitter Root #1 at our brand name booth G1. Sanford Greene himself will be present at the event, ready to meet attendees and sign advanced copies of the comic.
Our brand name has also been the inaugural sponsor of the AfroTech event, demonstrating our commitment to supporting and mentoring current and future sellers. To learn more about our brand name's community and Diversity and Inclusion programs, click the provided link.
