Asmussen's career spans various political institutions. She previously served at the Hessian State Chancellery, the Federal Ministry of the Interior, and the Federal Chancellery, coordinating collaborations with national and European parliaments, regulatory bodies, and other European institutions.
Before joining DHL Group, Asmussen was the Chief Political Officer at Merck, a science and technology company, since 2015. Her extensive experience in politics and international advocacy makes her a valuable addition to DHL Group's leadership team.
