Roadworks on L258 in Sulzbach: Detours and Alternative Routes
The State Road Authority (LfS) will be carrying out roadworks on the L258 in Sulzbach from July 28, 2025, to approximately August 8, 2025. The project involves repairing a length of approximately 1.6 kilometers by applying a new asphalt top layer in cold-mix asphalt (DSK) construction.
During the roadworks, the L258 will be fully closed in two phases. The first phase will occur from July 28 to August 1, 2025, affecting the section from the TÜV testing center in Sulzbach to the junction of L247 "Neunkircher Straße". The second phase will take place from August 4 to 8, 2025, affecting the section from the junction of L247 "Neunkircher Straße" to L255 "Dudweiler Straße".
Traffic coming from the A623 (Sulzbach interchange) will be detoured via Sulzbach's town center. Traffic on the L258 during the roadworks will be rerouted, with detour routes signposted and including roads L126, L127, L247, and L280.
The LfS kindly asks all road users for their understanding regarding the roadworks and potential inconveniences. They advise road users to allow extra travel time during the roadworks, expect increased traffic, and potential delays on the detour routes. Road users are also asked to be patient and follow the signposted detour routes during the roadworks on the L258.
