Renovation Works Begin on Lenin Street in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky
The city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky is undergoing significant infrastructure improvements, with Lenin Street being one of the main focuses. According to Anatoly Bankov, Deputy Head of the Administration of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky City District, repair works are currently underway and are set to last from May 17 to August 31.
The works are being carried out on two key sections of Lenin Street. The first section, from the House of the Fleet Officers (DOF) to the intersection of Soviet and Lenin Streets, is one of the sections undergoing repair. The second section is towards the Drama Theatre.
Five specialized teams are involved in the repair works, which include laying stormwater drainage, installing manholes, and laying pipes. In addition, electricians are installing communication line manholes, laying communication and external lighting cables, and installing foundations for lighting poles.
After the installation of stormwater drainage and lighting on Lenin Street, road works will begin. During this phase, traffic will be maintained on Soviet Street in two lanes.
The aim of these repairs is to significantly improve the infrastructure and increase the comfort of the urban environment. Lenin Street is one of the main transport arteries in the central part of the city, and these improvements are expected to have a positive impact on the daily lives of residents and visitors.
