Action, the popular discount retailer, has continued to grow its footprint across Europe, currently operating over 3,000 stores in 13 countries. The retailer, which started as a small business in Enkhuizen, Netherlands in 1993, now has a significant presence in numerous European nations.

Action's European stores can be found in the Netherlands, Italy, Czechia, France, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Poland, and Slovakia. Romania is set to join this list, with the first store scheduled to open on September 24, 2025.

The retailer offers a wide range of products, including home decor, beauty products, pet supplies, and toys, attracting over 18 million customers each week. Action's stores are not only popular with local residents but also with tourists, making it a significant destination for bargain-hunters across the continent.

Action's expansion course in Europe is expected to attract even more customers. Recently, the company opened its 600th store in Germany, marking a significant milestone. Similarly, Action has entered the Swiss market in April, further expanding its European presence.

The rapid expansion of Action stores is driven by economic uncertainty in Europe, leading to increased demand for bargain products. The retailer aims to add around 370 stores this year and is on track to open at least one store per day on average by 2025, making it the fastest-growing discount chain in Europe.

In Spain, Action has opened its first store and plans to open several more, with a warehouse in the pipeline to support further growth. The company's strategic expansion plans are paying off, as evidenced by its net sales increasing by 17.9% to 7.3 billion euros in the first half of the year.

As Action continues to grow, it is poised to become a major player in the discount retail industry, offering affordable products to millions of customers across Europe.

The expansion of Action, a discount retailer, is not limited to established markets; it's also venturing into new territories like Spain. With a warehouse planned for support, Action aims to open more stores in Spain.

Action's growth strategy extends beyond retail goods, as it eyes a significant presence in the financial sector. The company's personal-finance services cater to customers who seek strategies for effective money management.

The lifestyle of many Europeans revolves around shopping, and Action's continued expansion means more opportunities for customers to find bargains on a wide range of products, from home decor to pet supplies.
