Collaboration Announcement
In a move aimed at improving efficiency and service delivery, the Bauverein Süchteln housing cooperative has announced a partnership with the Verwaltungs- und Bauträgergesellschaft mbH (VAB). The new arrangement will see the Bauverein Süchteln establish an office within the VAB customer center, located on the first floor of the city hall.
The VAB customer center, situated at the town hall square, will now serve as the primary point of contact for the members of the Bauverein Süchteln. This strategic location provides easy access and convenience for the cooperative's members.
Under the partnership, VAB will take over the administration and member support for the Süchteln Housing Cooperative. Daily operational tasks such as rent collection, maintenance coordination, and member communication will be handled by VAB on behalf of the cooperative.
This collaboration allows the Bauverein Süchteln to benefit from VAB's professional and specialized management infrastructure, ensuring efficient administration and service delivery. Markus Ring, CEO of Bauverein Süchteln, expressed his satisfaction with the partnership, stating that it is the best solution for their members, both economically and organizationally.
The partnership follows a successful model that VAB has employed in cooperation with the Non-Profit Building Association in Dülken for decades. This model is particularly beneficial for smaller housing companies as it allows them to save on employing staff to meet increasing demands.
The implementation and daily support of the Bauverein Süchteln will be handled by the municipal housing company from now on. The supervisory board and management of the cooperative will continue to steer the cooperative and make key business decisions.
Jennifer Sassen, department head at VAB, will take over the support of the members of the Bauverein Süchteln together with her team. A signpost in the strong red of the Bauverein Süchteln will guide members to their office at the VAB customer center.
The previous business office on Vereinsstraße in Süchteln has been closed. The Bauverein can still be reached for all inquiries via the VAB telephone switchboard under 02162/37820 or by email at info@bauverein-suechteln.de.

The members of the Bauverein Süchteln were informed about the new regulation at the beginning of June 2025. This partnership is set to streamline the administration of the Bauverein Süchteln, enhance member support and services, and enable the cooperative to focus more on its core mission while relying on VAB’s expertise for administrative matters.
The Bauverein Süchteln's members will now primarily interact with VAB at the customer center, located at the town hall square, due to the partnership.
