Clearstream & BlackRock Team Up to Expand Private Market Investment Access
Clearstream Fund Services, a subsidiary of Deutsche Börse Group, has partnered with BlackRock to expand access to private market investments. The collaboration will add BlackRock's funds to Clearstream's platform, broadening their distribution and granting BlackRock access to a vast network of investors.
Moritz Dechow, CEO of Clearstream Fund Centre AG and Head of Fund Distribution for Clearstream Fund Services, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration with BlackRock. This move aims to facilitate access to private market investments, a significant step for both parties.
Clearstream's robust infrastructure will process BlackRock's funds securely and efficiently at scale. The addition of BlackRock's funds to Clearstream's platform is expected to attract more sophisticated investors, given Clearstream's extensive network of over 300 distribution partners across Europe, the UK, and Asia Pacific.
The partnership between Clearstream and BlackRock is set to enhance the distribution of BlackRock's alternative investment solutions. While specific details on which large investment firms will access these offerings remain unclear, the collaboration is poised to benefit both companies and their respective clients.
